Library Ets Haim

At the heart of the Jewish Cultural Quarter is Ets Haim Livraria Montezinos, the oldest functioning Jewish library in the world. This special library, founded in 1616 and located since 1675 in the beautiful complex of the Portuguese Synagogue, is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
